Papergirl Cardiff goes international!

We received our first international submission today!

This fantastic image of rocking wizards is from Brenda Kirk, in Columbus, Ohio, USA.

You can see more of her work on her blog Brain Confetti. She is also the editor of Geektress, a site for women who like Sci-Fi! (amongst other things)

We're really excited to see submissions coming in! Keep them coming everyone, the more the merrier.

Exhibition Confirmed!

We're delighted to be joining up with printmaking workshop The Printhaus to hold our exhibition. The show will run from 11th-17th June and the works will be distributed on the 18th. We're planning to have an opening party on Saturday 11th, so watch this space for details.

The ethos of  The Printhaus has a lot in common with Papergirl and we can't wait to start working with the artists there. We hope it will be a great partnership! You can find more details about The Printhaus here: Facebook: Printhaus Remember that tomorrow evening we'll be at Cardiff Arts Institute, courtesy of  ThinkArk, for an open evening. Please come and say hello if you have any questions about the event or if you have anything to say at all really!

Our First Submission!

So,  we have our first submission. This drawing, entitled "Wasp", is by Daniel Howes. I hope we'll soon have many more like it!
